Bioenergy NoE Board

The NoE Board governs our practical work.  The Board is headed by the Coordinator for the project, Kai Sipila, from VTT kai.sipila@vtt.fi

Coordination Team

The Coordination Team, made up of Kai Sipila, Josef Spitzer and Tony Bridgwater, oversee NoE policy and daily business.

Research Area Leaders

Research Area Leaders offer expertise and lead a team of researchers in joint research on behalf of the Bioenergy Network of Excellence.  Please see diagram above to view the structure of the Integrated Actions (IAs) and Jointly Executed Research Projects (JERs).

Researchers

The NoE comprises about 150 researchers from all eight partner institutions.  Together their expertise covers the entire bioenergy field.  Researchers work on joint projects as a means of integrating the eight institutes' work and to help implement bioenergy in Europe.
