WOB - Bubbling fluidised-bed facility
The WOB of ECN is a flexible lab-scale atmospheric bubbling fluidised bed facility used for research on combustion, gasification and pyrolysis. Air, oxygen, argon, nitrogen and steam can be used as fluidising medium or oxidant.

- Determination of agglomeration risk for fuels under realistic process conditions based on a standard test
- Characterisation of fuel conversion behaviour
- Fuel gas generation for further research on downstream processes
