The Annual Bioenergy NoE Researchers Meeting, Bad Blumau, Austria

1-3rd October 2007

On the 1-3rd October 2007, Bad Blumau, Austria hosted the 4th Annual Bioenergy Network of Excellence Researchers Meeting. Leading Bioenergy Researchers from all over Europe came to drive forward opportunites for further integration and collaborative research projects.

The Network of Excellence, which is funded by the European Commission until December 2008, took the opportunity to bring all researchers together to begin strategically planning for the final stage of the project.

The event kicked off with study tours to Gussing Power Plant and to "Bioenergy Mureck". This was followed by presentations and workshops by senior and new researchers.
