Pressurized Thermobalance
The thermobalance of VTT is used for
- Characterisation of gasification reactivity
- Ash sintering of fuels (special application: characterisation of combustion)

- A wide range of biomass fuels
- Wastes, waste fractions
- Peat and coal.
Technical information
- Temperature: up to 1000 ?C thermocouple, up to 2000 ?C optical pyrometer
- Pressure: 1 - 100 bar
- Input gases: steam, H2, CO2, CO, air, O2 and N2
- Isothermal and non-isothermal measurement possible
- Sampling of product gas and particulate matter
